Course Description

Greg Caggiano, presenter, author, blogger

Ernest Shackleton’s Trans-Antarctic Expedition of 1914 is one of the greatest and most harrowing stories of courage in the history of exploration. Learn the background information of the voyage, what went wrong, and how he and his crew refused to quit even when shipwrecked in total isolation at the bottom of the world. This lecture is being offered in honor of the 2022 discovery of Shackleton’s long-lost ship, the Endurance and the brand-new 3D scans of the wreck in 2024. The past will come alive in this exciting talk.
