Georges Santayana wrote: Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it. So why don’t we heed that warning? In this course we will. Address the ideologies,theologies, and histories that might be have been taught; but have they been learned and understood…let alone practiced? From whence and from whom do we get our news and views? What lessons can we incorporate to make reasoned choices so as to have a meaningful voice in establishing our history’s future? All opinions will be given a hearing; but facts will intrude. So be gutsy; bring your voice! 6 SESSIONS
