From the Metics of ancient Athens in the fifth century, BCE to the Dutch in the 17th century, to Ellis Island, 1907 explore the diverse and complex journeys of individuals who left their homelands in search of new lives in new lands.  Examine the challenges, triumphs, and contributions of these immigrants, shedding light on their impact on societies and the formation of multicultural communities. 3 SESSIONS
