From “Tricky Dick’s” exiting the White House to the First lady of Television, Lucille Ball’s exit from the situation comedy stage to John Lennon’s last public appearance on stage, 1974 was an eventful and fascinating year. Headlines to be discussed also include: Gerald Ford becoming the 38th President of the United States, the coup in Portugal, toppled governments in Ethiopia and Greece, Patty Hearst’s kidnapping  and more.
