Course Description

Henry McNally, MA, Fordham, Irish historian, recipient of the 2019 eoin McKiernan Award & The Cook College Ramblers

In Ireland, it is said, there is a song for every story. We’ll determine the truth in that – The Cook College Ramblers will perform 10 or more of their favorite songs and Hank McNally will meet the challenge, researching each song and sharing the story behind

it. No challenge for the audience; sit back, enjoy the music, gain a better understanding of the words, tap your feet, and sing along with enthusiasm.

Wherever Green Is Worn, (a phrase used in relation to the Irish Diaspora) in the month of March there should be added focus on the history, culture, and music of the emerald isle. This program offers an opportunity to learn a little random history, carry on the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day and have a little fun.  Includes breakfast
