Course Description

This 6-week session will explain the fundamentals of video editing on the leading industry-standard, non-linear editing video editing software for film and TV.   Through a six-week series of lessons on video editing concepts as well as the software techniques of sequence editing, students will gain a robust knowledge of the workflow of professional video editing from an experienced video editor and Adobe certified Instructor.  Through basics of 3-point editing, trimming and file transcoding, to advanced concepts like keyframe editing, motion graphics and compositing, students will develop skills that can be applied to any NLE software, while learning the specifics of Adobe Premiere Pro.   A basic understanding of video and computer technology is expected for the course.
